Graphic Scores
Listening the language of landscape trough image and sound.

Her notations are inspired by nature and the surrounding soundscape. She often combines her drawings with photographs frequently created in collaboration with other artists, that depict natural landscapes, creating a dialogue between the visual and the sonic, between what is seen and what is intuited.

Through the practice of graphic notation and sound drawings, her creative process becomes a dialogue between the conscious and the intuitive.
She explores composition as a language that bridges the visual and the sonic, opening paths to new forms of interpretation and listening.

My graphic notations are like fossils of my soundscapes.

In many of her works, the symbols and graphic notations are directly influenced by elements found in the environment: the curve of a branch, the texture of a stone, the vibration of wind through the leaves, or the shifting patterns of shadow on the ground. In this way, each image becomes a sonic space creating visuals scores open to interpretation.

Projects and collaborations:
Earlier this year, sound artist @shermvn reached out to use one of my graphic notations for an ensemble workshop on musical exploration.
It was an honor to see the score become a space for dialogue, interpretation, and connection among such talented musicians @zjg12.55✨️ @ethankimberlymusic✨️ @musicalmason ✨️ @jennareelmusic ✨️
Grateful to Ziare and everyone involved thanks for bringing the piece to life in such an inspiring way.
Seeing others connect, explore, and reinterpret your work is one of the most meaningful rewards of making art.

Soundlands started as an artistic exploration between image and sound.
The project uses graphic notation visual music scores placed in dialogue with landscapes photography
Each piece is a sonund cartography, where visual elements from the land inspire the symbols for sound. This fusion invites a contemplative listening, asking us to hear the hidden resonance of a place. Soundlands transforms the act of viewing into an intuitive act of listening, bridging the seen and the unheard.
